Ghana defeat Djibouti 19-0 on aggregate in World Cup qualifiers

 

The Black maidens made history after thrashing Djibouti 10-0 on Sunday to make it to Uruguay

Ghana’s female U-17 team hammered Djibouti 10-0 in the Fifa U-17 female World Cup qualifiers at Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday to book their place with a 19-0 aggregate scoreline.

Following a 9-0 victory in the first leg away, four goals from Mukarama Abdulai set the ball rolling for another onslaught.

Nina Norshie also registered her name on the scoresheet after netting twice with Victoria Teye, Barikisu Rahman, Azumah Bugre and Fuseina Mumuni adding one goal each to complete the riot.

Ghana have booked their place to the World Cup holding in Uruguay later this year.
