Ghana FA executive council is taking shape gradually following the elections to bring on board three members to represent the interest of Division One Clubs took place in Accra on Thursday.
Heart of Lions bankroller and former Ghana FA spokesperson Randy Abbey topped the voting with 26 votes after a keenly contested election.
Aside Abbey, the chairman of Baby Jet Foundation and spokesperson of Asamoah Gyan, Anim Addo also garnered 19 votes while Mark Addo grabbed 25 to complete the number allocated for the lower-tier clubs.
Interestingly, outspoken owner of King Faisal, Alhaji Karim Grunsah could only have nine votes while Kweku Eyiah Esq who was highly rated to pick one of the vacant seats due to his principled ways of life almost came last with seven votes.
Veteran sports journalist Otuo Acheampong (Sometymer) saw his ambitions to become a board member of the FA crashed since he had only 14 votes.
