The veteran football administrator has been rewarded with a top position after over three decades of dedication
Madam Abiba Attah has been elected to represent Women on the new Executive Council of Ghana Football Association following a keenly contested race on Thursday in Accra.
Tye 72-year-old polled eight votes to beat fast-rising Evelyn Nsiah Asare who amassed seven votes and would be the only woman in the 12-man body that would supervise the day-to-day activities of football in the country.

Evenly Nsiah Asare – 7 votes
Rosalind Amoh – 1 votes
Edna Quagraine – 0
Madam Attah will now represent the women on the new executive council which will be in office until 2023.
