The shot-stopper believes they should be satisfied with the point they picked in Sogakope on the top-flight’s opening day
Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan believes the 1-1 draw against former club Wafa at the Red Bulls Arena in Sogakope was a perfect start to the 2017-18 Ghana Premier League season.
The Porcupine Warriors have suffered two defeats in a row prior to this game but Yakubu Mohammed’s 18th minute strike was enough to end that record.
Aminu Mohammed shot Wafa into the lead by the third minute through a wonderful free-kick before Yakubu made it 1-1 fifteen minutes later after a connecting a shot from Jordan Opoku and sending his effort past goalkeeper Richmond Ayi.

Goalkeeper Annan made the best save of the game by the 89th minute after defender Emmanuel Owusu, who joined Kotoko from lower-tier side NEA Salamina, almost scored an own after a mis-kick.
Kotoko will play hosts to Inter Allies next weekend at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium
