The draw for the round of 16 of the FA Cup was held on Tuesday and defending champions Hearts of Oak have been paired with fellow Premier League side
Hearts of Oak have been handed Elmina Sharks following the draw for 2021/2022 FA Cup Round of 16 held in Accra Accra on Tuesday.
Ahead of the draw, Ghana Football Association grouped all the qualified teams into two zones – Northern and Southern – based on their geographical locations to reduce travelling time, cost and also to facilitate more derbies.
There will be a Bono derby at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park as Aduana Stars have been paired with Berekum Chelsea while King Faisal and Bechem United lick horns with Real Tamale United and Kumawuman United respectively.
The dates for the games will be communicated in the coming days.
