The Phobians have been handed difficult fixtures as the new season is about to start
Hearts of Oak will play two derbies including two away games when 2022)23 Ghana Premier League season kicks off next month.
The Phobians, who failed to defend the Premier League title last season, will commence the new campaign with a long journey from Accra to Dormaa Ahenkro in the Bono region to face Aduana Stars opening day.
After that, Samuel Boadu’s men will host city rivals Great Olympics in Accra derby at the Accra Sports Stadium before they battle fierce rivals Asante Kotoko in the Super Clash at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium seven days later.
Kotoko, on the other hand, will host debutants Nsoatreman on opening day at Baba Yara Sports before they travel to Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in Bechem to face Bechem United.
After pipping Hearts 1-0 last season in Kumasi enroute to lift the league trophy, Kotoko will be hoping to replicate that feat when Hearts come visiting once again.
