Former Ghana Premier League topscorer Augustine Okrah was on target when Bechem United shared the spoils 1-1 with Karela United on matchday nine at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in Ainyinase on Sunday.
After defeating Techiman Eleven Wonders in midweek, Bechem were hoping to make it two wins in a row I the aim to gatecrash into the top four.
After a goalless draw in the first half, Okrah began to cause troubles to the Karela United defenders.
On the 51st minute, Okrah connected a pass from his teammate and sent in a wonderful strike to break the deadlock.
Although, Okrah thought he had scored his second of the day after sending in a long range volley, goalkeeper Felix Kyei dived on time to saved the situation.
Karela finally scored the equaliser through Darlington Gyanfosu by the 86th minute.
Okrah has now scored five goals and provided one assist as well winning two man of the match awards.
