After failing to win any of their last two games in all competitions, including the 1-1 stalemate against fierce rivals Hearts of Oak, Kotoko bounced back to winning ways.

Stephen Amankona opened the scoring for Kotoko in the first half from a spot kick after he was brought down in Nsoatreman’s box.

After the break, Kotoko doubled their lead through Isaac Oppong. The youngster combined with Ugandan striker Steven Mukwala and calmly slotted the ball past onrushing Nsoatreman goalkeeper.
