The Black Stars gaffer has made changes in the squad the lost to United States last month as he hope his charges grind results against Madagascar

Ghana coach Chris Hughton has surprisingly dropped goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi ahead of the game against Madagascar in 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday.

Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Richard Ofori returns to play a competitive game for the Black Stars after more than a year away due to injury.

Also, captain Andre Ayew who recently joined Ligue 1 side Le Havre was not selected and will be on the bench as West Ham United star Kudus Mohammed lead the attack with Jordan Ayew.

Meanwhile, Daniel Amartey returns after his injury layoff and will team up with Alidu Seidu, Nicholas Opoku and Gideon Mensah in defence while Abdul Samed and Baba Idrissu man the midfield.
