The Phobians were once again thrashed away from home as they exited the Caf Confederation Cup against the Algerian side
Algerian club JS Souara defeated Hearts of Oak 4-0 in the second leg of the Caf Confederation Cup to book their place in the group stage of the competition on Sunday in Bechar, Algeria.
Despite heading into the game with a 2-0 advantage, Hearts started the game very poorly and quickly began to make mistakes at the back.
Abdeljalil Saad opened the scoring for Souara by the seventh minute before Oussama Bellatreche added another goal late in the first half.
After the break, Hearts opened up more in search of a priceless away goal. However, they were neutralised anytime they went near the hosts’ penalty area.
Bellatreche added another goal before Aymen Aziz Lahmeri wrapped it up with a fine finish.
Hearts have now conceded ten goals in their last two away games in the Caf inter-club competitions as Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco also thrashed them 6-1 in the playoffs of the Caf Champions League.
