The 2020 edition of Ghana Music Awards took place over the weekend despite initial postponement due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Held on Friday and Saturday evenings, several industry players were rewarded for their immense contribution within the year under review.
However, the biggest casualties on the night were Dancehall legends Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy who are currently facing a ban following their clash at last year’s edition.
Despite Sarkodie and hhisfan base brimmin with confidence to clinch the topmost award of the year since rivals Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy aren’t part of the scheme, he was surprisingly beaten by Kuami Eugene.
