The Saints have officially booked their place in the Premier League after a hard won victory over Leeds at the Wembley
Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana is expected to play in Premier League next season after securing qualification with Southampton this evening at Wembley.
Southampton defeated Leeds United 1-0 in the playoff final to join Leicester City and Ipswich Town as the three clubs from Championship to have gained promotion.
Adam Armstrong scored the only goal of the day after latching onto an assist by Will Smallbone by the 24th minute.
Although, Kamaldeen was an unused substitute in the game, he thus, becomes the second Ghanaian player to book qualification to Premier League after Abdul Fatawu Issahaku also qualified with Leicester City.
Already, Kudus Mohammed, Thomas Teye Partey, Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp play for West Ham United, Arsenal and Crystal Palace respectively.
