The PSG superstar has once again proven his worth as he netted twice in the second half to see France through to the next round of the World Cup with a game to spare
France have defeated Denmark 2-1 to book their place in the round of 16 at 2022 Fifa World Cup thanks to a Kylian Mbappe brace after the break.
After an end to end first half where chances were premium, France finally broke the deadlock through forward Kylian Mbappe on 61st minute. The Real Madrid target met a wonderful assist from Theo Hernandez to peg Denmark behind.
However, Christiansen pulled even for Denmark few minutes later before Mbappe finished them off with a simple tap in from Antoine Griezman’s cross.
The defending champions have thus become the first nation to qualify from their group after two games.
They will now play Tunisia on November 30 as the African side needs a win at all cost to stand a chance of booking their place to the next round.
