The nimble-footed midfielder has confirmed talks are far advanced with the biggest club in Eastern part of Africa
Bechem United midfielder Augustine Okrah has revealed that his agent has held successful meetings with Tanzania Premier League giants Simba SC ahead of a possible transfer.
The 28-year-old was rumoured to have sealed a two-year deal with the Lions last week and he has admitted that he is on the verge of joining the Dark es Salaam-based club.
“My agent has had talks with me about interests from Simba and other clubs in Africa and Europe. I am interested in such news also,” Okrah admitted.
“For now, it is up to my agent to decide when we leave Ghana to finalise the deal. I have personally spoken to Simba SC so in the course of next month, my final destination will be known.
“Everyone who knows my career and has followed me keenly will admit that I am one of the talented players from Ghana. A lot of people meet me in town and their reactions at times make me feel special. I have to make all of these people proud one day.
“The talent is there so I just need to do somethings right in order to achieve my set goals,” he added.
Okrah scored 18 goals in all competitions last season for Bechem United who finished third in Ghana Premier League and second in FA Cup
