The Porcupine Warriors returned to winning ways thanks to two goals from Cameroonian striker Etuoga Mbella Frank Thierry
Asante Kotoko pipped Legon Cities 2-1 on matchday nine of Ghana Premier League at the Theater of Dreams in Dawu on Sunday.
After a slow start to the game due to the poor state of the pitch at Dawu, Kotoko took charge of the possession and began to ask questions in the hosts’ goal area.
Cameroonian striker Etuoga Mbella Frank Thierry shot Kotoko ahead by the 28th minute after latching onto a flick by his countryman George Mfegue Rodrigues.
However, the lead last only four minutes as Legon pulled even following a poor goalkeeping by Razak Abalora.
