The Phobians defender was rushed to the hospital after collapsing in what appears to be a cardiac arrest
Hearts of Oak defender Mohammed Alhassan was rushed to the hospital few minutes after full time in the goalless draw against Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The defender who saw full action dropped to the ground after full time and his teammates quickly rushed to the scene and called on the medics to save the situation.
After some quick examination Alhassan, he was rushed out of the stadium in an ambulance and then move out to a nearby hospital.
It is unclear what led to his sudden collapse but reports suggest he may have suffered from a cardiac arrest just like what happened to Argentina and Barcelona forward Sergio Kun Aguero on Saturday in All Liga.
