StarTimes to telecast five Kotoko games in GPL; check the list

The television right holders of the top-flight has revealed that the Porcupines will feature in their programme line up frequently this season

Asante Kotoko supporters across the country and world at large can now watch their club in the comfort of their homes when 2020/21 Ghana Premier League kicks off thanks to StarTimes.

Following the official television schedule, Kotoko’s first game on opening day against Techiman Eleven Wonders at the Accra Sports Stadium will be beamed live on TV alongside other games like Aduana Stars vs Hearts, Legon Cities vs Berekum Chelsea, Ashanti Gold vs Karela and Inter Allies vs Dreams FC.

On matchday two, Kotoko will travel to Golden City Park in Berekum on November 22 to lock horns with old foes Berekum Chelsea and StarTimes have included it in their list.

Kotoko’s next home game against ‘Wonder Club’ Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium will be televised live by StarTimes as well as the matchday four fixture in Tarkwa.

Kotoko are yet to record a win in Tarkwa for almost a decade and fans would hope to have a change in result this season when they travel to AKOON’s Park to battle with Medeama and the game is expected to be broadcasted live on TV.

Finally, Kotoko’s home game against Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium on December 13 will be the headline game on matchday five.

With Asamoah Gyan, Nicholas Gyan and midfielder Baba Mahama joining Legon Cities ahead of the season, fans will be given the opportunity to see how they will perform against Kotoko live on TV thanks to StarTimes.
