Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo has scored his third goal of the season as Bournemouth defeated Southampton 3-1 in the Premier League on Monday night.
Evanilson poked Bournemouth in front by the 17th minute before Dango Ouattara made it 2-0 on 32nd minute and Semenyo added the third goal seven minutes later.
After the break, Semenyo lost the ball in Bournemouth’s half and Southampton went on to get a goal through T. Harwood-Bellis on 51st minute. Despite the goal, the hosts were resolute and held on to win the game.
Ghanaians will be hoping Semenyo maintains his fine form ahead of the international break as Black Stars face Sudan in a doubleheader for a place in 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
