Hearts of Oak opponents in Caf Champions League CI Kamsar have departed Guinea on Friday morning enroute to Accra ahead of the preliminary round fixture on Sunday.

Due to the political unrest in Guinea, Caf ordered that the first leg slated for last weekend in Guinea was called off and one-off game to determine the winner was scheduled for September 19 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Kamsar left Conakry with about 35 people and are expected to arrive in Ghana in the evening of Friday.

Former Asante Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong and midfielder Martin Antwi were part of the players that are expected in the country.

Also, former Samatex and Karela United striker Sampson Eduku was also named in the traveling squad and the club is banking their hopes on him for the goals.

Hearts of Oak unveiled their new jersey for the 2021/22 season on Thursday at the World Trade Centre office in Accra.

The Phobians are expected to wear the jersey for the first time on Sunday.
