The Phobians former star tied the knot on Saturday afternoon in Africa after returning to the country from Algeria
Former Hearts of Oak striker Joseph Esso married his long time girlfriend Mary Lilian Dodoo at the Pentecost Church on Saturday afternoon in Pokuase, Accra, AshesGyamera.com can report.
The 24-year-old joined Mouloudia club d’Alger in April from Dreams FC in an undisclosed fee and has been an influential figure in the club’s setup. He scored seven goals in the just ended season to become the foreigner with most goals in the Algerian Ligue 1.
Esso bagged a hat-trick on final day as MC Alger shared the spoils 4-4 with Na Hussein Dey.
The wedding was well attended by journalists, friends, Ghana Premier League players as well as some coaches.
Esso is expected to depart the country next month for Algeria to join his teammates for the pre-season.
