The talented centre-back has putting pen to paper in a move to the Phobians despite interest from rivals Kotoko and Aduana
Hearts of Oak have signed Konadu Yiadom in a three-year deal on Monday night, AshesGyamera.com can confirm.
The 22-year-old was highly linked with a move to Asante Kotoko few days ago as the Porcupine Warriors jumped into the market to find a partner for skipper Abdul Ganiyu Ismail as they prepare for the title defence and Caf Champions League participation.
However, the youngster favoured Hearts ahead of Kotoko and Aduana who even placed a late bid with impressive figures and conditions than Hearts.
Yiadom has been registered for the upcoming Caf Confederation Cup which starts next month. They will face the winner of AS Doune and ASR Bamako in Round 2 of the play-offs.
He joins Eric Ofori Antwi, Junior Kaaba and Central Africa Republic striker Hassan Ouatching.
Hearts will begin their Ghana Premier League season with a trip to Dormaa Ahenkro to face Aduana Stars before they host city rivals Great Olympics in Ga Mantse derby.
They will then travel to Kumasi to lock horns with bitter rivals Asante Kotoko in the Super Clash at Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
