The dribbling magician says he is ready to turn around the fortunes of Asante Kotoko if given the opportunity
Hearts of Oak legend and former coach Mohammed Polo says he is ready to help the club ahead of the new season.
The Porcupine Warriors ended last season without a trophy which has resulted into a lot of uneasiness among the management members and board of directors of the club.
Also, head coach Mariano Baretto also started a media war against the club inisisting that he would only return to post only if a lot of things change before the start of the 2021/22 season.
However, Polo has made himself available and insists he can replace the Portuguese manager to change the club’s dwindling fortunes.
“Kotoko shouldn’t worry because I believe they will bounce back for us to see the competitiveness in our league, what they need is a good coach, and I can help if only they need my services,” Polo told Otec FM.
“There are a lot of coaches in the system, they can also look for one who can help the team to grow.”
“I don’t think the management was bad, the fans need to have patience for them, Nana Yaw Amponsah is a dynamic young man who wants to take Ghana Football to another level just like Herbert Mensah did,” he added.
Kotoko have been quiet in the transfer market as reports suggest they want to be sure of the coach who will be handling the club before they start signing players.
