The Phobians chief has revealed that although the club is yet to seal a deal with the former UEFA Champions League winner, a jersey number has been reserved for him
Hearts of Oak board member Nyaho-Nyaho Tamakloe says that the club will love to sign a deal with former Inter Milan and A.C Milan superstar Sulley Ali Muntari when the player is ready to play in Ghana Premier League.
Although, the club rejected media reports last week that they have signed Muntari for the second round of Ghana Premier League, the former Ghana Football Association president insists a jersey [number] has been reserved for him since 2018 and will be a beautiful moment when he agrees to to don the rainbow colours in the future.
“For the past two years, Hearts of Oak have been telling Sulley Ali Muntari that we’ve reserved a jersey for him. Anytime he’s ready to play, he knows what to do,” Tamakloe told Angel FM‘s Saddick Adams in an interview.
Muntari, 35, who is a free agent currently after parting ways with Spanish Segunda B side Albacete, has been having training indoors in Ghana due to the Coronavirus disease which has brought all football related activities to a standstill across the globe since three months ago.
