The Phobians showed class as they returned to winning ways against the struggling Brong Ahafo region club on Sunday
Hearts of Oak defeated Eleven Wonders 4-1 on matchday thirteen of Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
After a narrow defeat against Medeama in midweek, the Phobians needed a reaction and they had it in a grand style.
Youngster Salim Adams shot Hearts ahead by the 19th minute with a thunderbolt from about 25 yards away.
The Phobians doubled their efforts after the break as they scored three quick goals to unsettle the visitors.
Kofi Kordzi doubled Hearts’ advantage by the 48th minute before he added another goal five minutes later from the spot after Daniel Afriyie Barnieh was brought down in the box.
On the 62nd minute, Hearts made it 4-0 through Barnieh after the midfielder connected a wonderful pass from Ibrahim Salifu and perfectly fired in.
With six minutes remaining, Wonders pulled one back from the spot through former Hearts defender Tetteh Nortey.
Although, Wonders pushed men forward in their attempt to further reduce the deficit, Hearts cleared their lines and held on to pick another vital three points.
