The midfielder climbed off the bench to snatch all points for St.Pauli as they go top of the league log
Ghana midfielder Daniel Kofi Kyereh was on target when St. Pauli defeated Jahn Regensburg 3-2 in Bundesliga 2 in Germany on Saturday.
After winning several hearts despite Ghana’s poor showing at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations held in Cameroon, Kyereh was used as a substitute and still proved his importance to his side.
He came on for Etienne Amenyido by the 57th minute when St. Pauli were already 2-1 up.
Nine minutes later, Kyereh combined with Guido Burgstaller to slot in the third goal of the day and silence the vociferous home supporters.
Although, David Otto pulled one back later, St. Pauli held on to record a 3-2 win and go top of the log with 41 points, same as Werder Breman who sit in second position.
