The Ghanaian was a star performer on the night for the minnows who stunned not only the Spanish giants but the world at large
Ghanaian midfielder Edmund Addo has expressed his delight after finally meeting Germany international and Real Madrid star Toni Kroos after Sherrif Tiraspol’s shocking 2-1 away win over Madrid in Uefa Champions League on Tuesday.

Although, it was Addo’s mistake that led to Madrid’s consolation goal by the 65th minute as he fouled Brazilian winger Vinicuis Jr in the box and Karim Benzema scored the resulting kick, he was on top form.
Addo had 92.3% passing accuracy with 25 touches and four ground duels won.
Also, he had 2/2 long balls completed and won two fouls and tackles as well as interpretations.
Sebastien This got the match winner for Sheriff and the win means that Addo’s club are now top of the group D with 6 points after two games.
“Happy with the win and happy to meet Toni finally,” Addo said.
“Today is a great day for my career,” he added.
Despite Addo’s exploits in the Uefa Champions League, he was conspicuously left out of Ghana’s squad to play Zimbabwe in the 2022 Fifa World qualifiers next month.
