Fifa president Gianni Infantino hits back at western critics of Qatar 2022 as hypocrites


The world’s football governing body has lashed out to people especially those in Europe who have constantly criticized Qatar as hosts of Fifa World Cup

FIFA president Gianni Infantino hit back at Western critics of Qatar’s human rights record at his opening press conference of the World Cup on Saturday, blasting their “hypocrisy”.

The build-up to the tournament in the Gulf state, which starts on Sunday, has been dominated by concerns over Qatar’s treatment of migrant workers, women and the LGBTQ community.
