Ayew brothers and eight others begin Black Stars training ahead of Afcon qualifiers

There were ten players present when the Black Stars began their preparations for the Afcon qualifiers against Sudan

Ghana opened their training sessions under new coach C.K Akonnor ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan in Accra on Monday with ten players.

Present at the training ground were captain Andre Ayew and his younger brother Jordan Ayew as well as Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Razak Abalora.

Also, winger Tariq Fosu, Emmanuel Lomotey and defender Nicholas Opoku together with Afriyie Acquah and Samuel Owusu were around for the fine tuning.

Pyramid FC striker John Antwi as well as AshantiGold right-back Kwadwo Amoako arrived on time to partake in the maiden edition of the training sessions.

The thirteen remaining players are expected to report on Tuesday morning as Akonnor Hope’s to get a full house.

Ghana will play Sudan at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Thursday before heading Khartoum five days later for return fixture.
