The Miners outgoing coach has aimed a dig at the club’s technical director after he was relieved off his duties
Ashanti Gold former coach Ernest Thompson Quartey has slammed the club’s technical director Da Rocha and further labels him as a snitch and hypocrite.
Quartey who was appointed as the new coach last month, was sacked from his position after only three games into the new Ghana Premier League season.
He won one game, shared the spoils in one and lost one last weekend against King Faisal at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
However, Quartey feels betrayed since he believes Da Rocha acted as of he was not involved in any of the decisions taken while he was at post.
“I built a strong relationship with him. We took decisions together but he painted a picture like we did not involved him in anything,” Quartey told Fox FM.
He has stabbed me in the back and whoever that will be appointed tobreooace me as the new coach must stay away from Da Rocha.
“He is not a good person and will likely undermine the person,” he added.
