The lanky forward has touched down in the country Friday evening and he is expected in Kumasi on Saturday
Asante Kotoko new striker Michael Vinicius ‘The Goal Monger’ has arrived in Ghana on Friday evening, AshesGyamera.com can confirm.
The Brazilian, who touched down in the company of another person suspected to be his agent, was met at Kotoka International Airport by Kotoko’s CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah and Supporters chief Christopher Damenya.
The 27-year-old is highly rated to bang in goals for Kotoko after the club lost their top marksman Kwame Opoku to Algerian side USM Algiers this month.
Vinicius will likely partner Naby Keita or Solomon Sarfo Taylor during games as new head coach Mariano Barreto is expected to work around the clock and win Ghana Premier League in order to qualify the club to Caf Champions League next season.
