Inaki Williams makes La Liga history against Las Palmas

Ghana forward Inaki Williams made history as he became the first player since 2005 to provide three assists in one La Liga game when Athletic Bilbao defeated Las Palmas 3-2 in La Liga on Sunday afternoon.

Inaki began his feat by the seventh minute when he laid a pass to Oihan Sancet to open the scoring for the visitors at Estadio de Gran Canaria.

Inaki later provided another assist for his younger brother Nico Williams to make it 2-0 by the half hour mark.

Although, Sandro Ramírez pulled one back by the 57th minute for the hosts, Inaki proved his worth by providing another assist for Aitor Paredes to make it 3-1 on 76th minute and restore Bilbao’s two-goal advantage.

Andrés Muñoz pulled another goals back for Las Palmas with seven minutes remaining. However, it was too little too late for them to snatch a point.
