Morocco shocked the world once again after they defeated Brazil under interim coach Ramon Menezes 2-1 in an international friendly on Saturday.
Following their impressive performance at 2022 Fifa World Cup staged in Qatar, the African side confirmed their incredible rise in status as they taught Brazil a wonderful lesson.
Vinicius Junior scored the first goal of the game early in the first half but Tunisian referee Sadok Selmi ruled it offside thanks to the assistance of VAR.
Sofiane Boufal then gave the hosts a deserving lead by the 29th minute to set the stadium on fire.
However, Manchester United midfielder Casemiro equalled the scoreline after the break. The former Real Madrid star connected a pass from his teammate and levelled the score on 67th minute.
Brazil could have gone on to win the game but they fluffed the half chances that came their way.
Morocco shot themselves into the lead again by the 79th minute thanks to Abdelhamid Sabiri’s effort and held on to record a famous victory.
Morocco will face Peru in another international friendly on Tuesday
