The 18-year-old outmatched his opponent in the last eight and has now secure the country’s third medal at the Commonwealth Games

Ghanaian Bantamweight boxer Abraham Mensah defeated Rukmal Prasanna from Sri Lanka in the quarterfinals bout of 2022 Commonwealth Games to secure a place in the semifinals.

Mensah won both the first and second rounds after perfectly landing a lot of punches on the face of his opponent.

Although, Mensah was deducted a point on the third round, he held on to pick a win as the judges ruled in his favour.
