Mohammed Kudus was shown a red card after hitting a Tottenham player in West Ham’s 4-1 defeat in East London derby in Premier League on Saturday.
The Ghanaian opened the scoring for West Ham in the 19th minute after an assist from Jarod Bowen but Tottenham turned the game on its head with some quick football. Dejan Kulusevski scored the equaliser for Tottenham by the 36th minute
After the break, Yves Bissouma made it 2-1 by the 53rd minute and West Ham goalkeeper Alphonse Areola bundled the ball into his own net two minutes later.
The hosts finished off the game on 66th minute through Son Heung-min to make it a non contest.
Kudus, who looked frustrated, was then given a straight red card after hitting a Tottenham player on 86th minute.
The red means that Kudus will not be part of West Ham’s squad to face Manchester United next weekend as well as the game against Nottingham Forest.
