The Crocodiles shared the spoils in their second pre-season friendly as they fine tune to host the Phobians next week
Hearts of Oak opponents in the preliminary round of the Caf Champions League, CI Kamsar, shared the spoils 1-1 with Warkiya Athletic Club in a pre-season friendly on Thursday in Conakry.
Kamsar came into this game on the back of a victory over AS Kaloum on Monday as they continue with their preparations to host Hearts on September 12.
Two former Asante Kotoko players started the game for Kamsar. Amos Frimpong started on the right wing while Martin Antwi was deployed behind striker Moussa Diallo.
After an end to end action in the early embers of the game, Warkiya took the lead through Gaoussou Siby by the fifth minute after they were awarded a penalty.
Diallo also got the opportunity to level the score for Kamsar few minutes later from the penalty spot but he missed his effort.
After the break, Kamsar pushed men forward for the equaliser but the defence of Warkiya were resolute and dealt with all the dangerous balls.
However, Kamsar finally found a breach in Warkiya’s defence to get the equaliser very late in the game.
Midfielder Nsingani Salazaku sent in a powerful effort deep in additional time to salvage a point and save the blushes of his side.
Kamsar will continue with their preparations on Sunday as they are billed to lock horns with Flamme Olympique.
