The Phobians will depart Ghana to the North African country for the return fixture of the their Caf Champions League
Ghana’s sole representatives in Caf Champions League, Hearts of Oak, will leave the country on Thursday with a 43-man contingent including 24 players for their Caf Champions League make or break game against Wydad Athletic Club.
The Phobians are hoping to make it to the group stage of the competition for the first time since 2006 as they head to Morocco with a slim advantage.
Hearts recorded a slim 1-0 victory on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium thanks to Isaac Mensah’s goal and would hope they don’t conceded a goal in the reverse fixture.
Ghana Football Association’s executive council member Randy Abbey has been appointed as the leader of delegation for the trip.
The 43-man contingent that will fly with Emirate Airline includes 24 players, 7 technical staff led by coach Samuel Boadu, management members, and photographers.
The return encounter has slated for Sunday, October 24 at the Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca and kick off 19h00GMT, 7pm Ghana time.
