Ghana Premier League continued over the weekend across eight centres in the country. Apart from the game between King Faisal and Dreams FC which was postponed, the rest successful came to an end.
In Dormaa Ahenkro, a brace by Emmanuel Gyamfi helped Aduana to defeat Berekum Chelsea 3-2 in the Bono derby. The win means that the Ogya Boys have maintained their first position and although Kotoko also won 2-1 over Legon Cities in Dawu, there is still three points between the two.
Cameroonian striker Etuoga Mbella Frank Thierry was the architect of Kotoko’s victory as his two goals ended a series of poor performance by Kotoko.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak defeated debutants Accra Lions 2-0 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium to make it two wins in a row and further push up on the log.
