The Board of the Ghana Amputee League Clubs Association met and conferred with the President of the Ghana National Paralympic Committee, Mr. Sampson Deen.
The purpose of the meeting was to officially introduce the GALCA members to the president of the NPC and also congratulate Mr. Sampson Deen on his election as the president of the African Paralympic Committee.
Mr. Sampson thanked the GALCA Board and urged them to continue working together in the best interest of the amputee players and athletes.
The Africa Paralympic Committee (APC) and National Paralympic Committee of Ghana (NPC Ghana) President Samson Deen also vowed to help find lasting solution to the brouhaha surrounding amputee football in Ghana and make sure that the league kick-starts by the close of the year.
Mr. Sampson Deen donated Five Thousand Cedi (5,000.00) to the Ghana Amputee League Clubs Association (GALCA) to defray some of the operational costs related to the preparation towards the National Disability Day Gala the two organisations are partnering to commemorate.
