The fast-rising supporters group of the Porcupine Warriors will be making their first major donation to the club ahead of the start of the new season
Asante Kotoko supporters group called The Ultras are set to make a donation to the club on Monday, AshesGyamera.com‘s sources have revealed.
The Ultras, whose slogan is ‘defend and protect the club‘, are expected to donate a 10,000-litre polytank to Kotoko management to help the Adako Jachie training ground project which is currently ongoing.
Following contributions made by members of the group, the executives will be at training ground to monitor the training session and then hand over the tank to the club’s top hierarchy.
AshesGyamera also understands that the Ultras are expected to donate fifty cartons of bottle water to the playing body and technical team members which will be used before, during and after training sessions.
Kotoko now have Prosper Ogum Narteh as the new coach after the Ultras issued a statement a couple of weeks ago to make known their displeasure about the conducts of former coach Mariano Baretto.
The Portuguese coach made some unfortunate remarks about the club which didn’t go down well with the Ultras and they demanded his sacking.
Kotoko will open the 2021/22 season with an away trip to Dawu to face Dreams FC before they welcome Bechem United to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on matchday two.
They will travel to Accra Sports Stadium on matchday seven to lock horns with Hearts of Oak in the Super Clash.
