The former Porcupine Warriors skipper will start against the Phobians in the all-important game on Sunday
Former Asante Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong has been named in the starting line up of CI Kamsar as they prepare to face Hearts of Oak in the Caf Champions League preliminary round at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Frimpong joined Kamsar in a one-year deal last month from Techiman Eleven Wonders and he will be hoping to inflict troubles to Hearts’ campaign.
However, Ghanaian duo of midfielder Martin Antwi and striker Sampson Eduku will have to start the game from the bench.
The first leg of the tie in Conakry was cancelled due to the coup d’etat that took place in Guinea a fortnight ago. As a result, Caf announced that there will be a one-off game in Accra to decide who progresses to the next stage.
Hearts supporters have been dealt a big blow since the game will be played behind closed doors.
The winner after the game will face Wydad Athletic Club from Morocco in the second round for a place in the group stage of the competition.
