Following series of training and low profile matches, Asante Kotoko head coach Steve Polack has made up his mind to field two strikers against CARA Brazzaville in the preliminary round of the Caf Confederations Cup on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, AshesGyamera understands.

The Porcupine Warriors are in a dire need of good results in the first leg and Steve Polack, according to our monitoring has decided to start former Atletico Madrid striker Sadick Adams alongside Obed Owusu, as a sweeper, since Frederick Boateng was not registered for the competition, while goalkeeper Felix Annan man the post ahead of Michael Abu and 15-year-old Danlad Ibrahim.

In defence, former Aduana Stars centre-back Wahab Adams is likely to partner Awudu Nafui, while Augustine Sefa and Amos Frimpong get the nods on the laterals.

Owusu Jackson is likely to start ahead of Seth Opare with Kwame Boahene, Emmanuel Gyamfi and evergreen Jordan Opoku complementing the attacking opinions of the midfield as Kotoko need fluidity in midfield in order to create more chances and score more goals ahead of the return leg on February 21.

Probable XI:
Felix Annan- , Augustine Sefa, Awudu Nafiu, Wahab Adams, Amos Frimpong- Jackson Owusu, Emmanuel Gyamfi, Jordan Opoku, Kwame Boahene- Sadick Adams, Obed Owusu
