The Black Stars recovered from the opening day defeat to Portugal to pip South Korea this time around
Ghana defeated South Korea 3-2 in their second game of Group H at 2022 Fifa World Cup ongoing in Qatar on Monday.
The Black Stars after losing their first game last week, saw three changes in their squad and went on to record an all-important victory.
Southampton defender Mohammed Salisu opened the scoring for Ghana by the 24th minute before Kudus Mohammed added another ten minutes later.
However, Jo Gue-sung pulled one back after the break as he met a wonderful cross from Lee Kang-in on 58th minute.
Gue-sung scored another goal through a header after meeting a tailor-measured cross from Jin-su Kim to unsettle the Ghanaians.
But Ghana restored their lead on 68th minute through Kudus as the Ajax Amsterdam forward perfectly placed a pass from Inaki Williams.
Ghana will now face Uruguay on December 2 and they will have to win or avoid a defeat to stand a chance of making it out of the group.
